The Thread that Connects Us
This installation is part of a communal project facilitated by Professor Chatton’s Francophone Cinema class during the spring of 2021 on the theme of the common.
The hands in the photos symbolize the K community (students, staff, professors) and the wire, the virtual connection or link that unites us during this long period of shared isolation.
These images add up like in cinema and represent K during this period. The idea is not only to link images with one another with the wire, but to make the different relations in the community visible.
This installation was made by Alonte, Avani, and Brynn.
